Quantities and a work calendar straight from the plan

Counting plants off a drawing by hand is slow and error-prone. OpenLandscape3D resolves every hedge, mass and grid into individual plants and counts them by species and install size.

Counts you can order from

Groups resolve into individual plants at their spacing, so a 12-metre hedge at 0.9 m on-centre becomes an exact count. The plant schedule lists each plant and install size once, with quantity — ready for a nursery order or a bid sheet.

Schedule the work around the climate

Task windows are computed from the site’s frost dates: when to plant container shrubs, when to cut back, when establishment watering ends. Each task cites its source and confidence.

Existing, retain and remove

Mark existing plants to keep, protect or remove. Removals stay visible on the plan for the crew and drop out of mature-overlap checks.

Not yet

Labour estimates, base and sub-base takeoffs, phasing and substitution workflows are planned. Material prices are planning ranges, not quotes.

Questions

Can I edit counts after export?

Yes. The plant schedule is a plain CSV. Edit it in any spreadsheet; the design file remains the source of truth.

Does it handle substitutions?

Not yet. Substitution suggestions with availability are planned with nursery partners.
