Accessibility statement
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA on this website and in the OpenLandscape3D apps.
What we do on this site
- Semantic headings, landmarks and a skip link; every page is server-rendered HTML that works without JavaScript, apart from the interactive tools.
- Text and interface colours chosen for at least 4.5:1 contrast; visible focus outlines for keyboard users.
- Illustrations have text alternatives; charts such as bloom calendars are real tables with captions; images declare their dimensions so pages don’t shift while loading.
- Motion respects the “reduce motion” setting; the garden preview never plays on its own.
- Interactive controls — sliders, filters, toggles — are native form elements with labels.
Known limitations
- The 3D views in the planner are visual by nature. Plant lists, schedules and check results provide the same information as text.
- Bloom and foliage colours are shown as colour swatches; colour names are given in text on plant pages.
