What is free?
Everything in the product: the planner, plant catalog, design checks, season and growth preview, schedules and OpenPlan3D export are open source and free to use.
Is there a charge for the iPhone and iPad app?
The app is not released yet. The plan is for it to be free, like the web planner.
Can I self-host?
The code is open source, so yes, technically.
