Size over time
Typical landscape size 0.1–0.2 m (0 ft) tall and 1.8–2.4 m (6–8 ft) wide; slow growth, about 5 years to maturity. Intermediate sizes use the planner’s growth curve (k = 0.12) from the plug install size.
Design notes
- Weeds are hard to remove once mats close — clear perennial weeds first.
- Phomopsis blight hits shaded, wet or overhead-watered plantings.
