Also called golden ragwort. Synonyms: Senecio aureus.
Fast native groundcover for moist shade, with low rosettes of rounded leaves and bright yellow daisies in spring.
Size over time
Typical landscape size 0.1–0.3 m (0–1 ft) tall and 0.3–0.6 m (1–2 ft) wide; fast growth, about 2 years to maturity. Intermediate sizes use the planner’s growth curve (k = 0.45) from the plug install size.

Yellow flowers, Apr–May (northern-hemisphere months; timing shifts with region and season).

Design notes
- Spreads quickly by runners and seed; good for large wet areas, too vigorous for small beds.
