Crossvine
Bignonia capreolata L.
Also called crossvine.
Vigorous native vine with orange-red trumpet flowers in spring and leaves that turn maroon in winter. Climbs by tendrils with adhesive tips.
Size over time
Typical landscape size 9–15 m (30–49 ft) tall and 1.8–3 m (6–10 ft) wide; fast growth, about 3 years to maturity. Intermediate sizes use the planner’s growth curve (k = 0.45) from the #3 install size.

Orange-red flowers, Apr–May (northern-hemisphere months; timing shifts with region and season).
