Arizona rosewood
Vauquelinia californica (Torr.) Sarg.
Dense, dark green native evergreen for tall screens in the desert, where few native plants give year-round cover. Flat white flower clusters in late spring.
Size over time
Typical landscape size 3–6 m (10–20 ft) tall and 2.4–3.6 m (8–12 ft) wide; slow growth, about 10 years to maturity. Intermediate sizes use the planner’s growth curve (k = 0.12) from the #3 install size.
