Clustered mountain mint
Pycnanthemum muticum (Michx.) Pers.
Also called clustered mountain mint, short-toothed mountain mint.
Minty native perennial whose small white flowers sit on silvery bracts that look frosted all summer. Among the busiest plants in any garden for wasps, bees and small butterflies.
Size over time
Typical landscape size 0.6–0.9 m (2–3 ft) tall and 0.6–0.9 m (2–3 ft) wide; fast growth, about 2 years to maturity. Intermediate sizes use the planner’s growth curve (k = 0.45) from the #1 install size.
