Also called dwarf fothergilla.
Compact native shrub with honey-scented white bottlebrush flowers in spring and some of the best orange-red-yellow fall colour of any shrub.
Size over time
Typical landscape size 0.6–1 m (2–3 ft) tall and 0.6–1.2 m (2–4 ft) wide; slow growth, about 10 years to maturity. Intermediate sizes use the planner’s growth curve (k = 0.12) from the #3 install size.
