Yucca filamentosa L.
Stemless native yucca with stiff, thread-edged leaves and 1.5–2 m stalks of white bells in early summer. Variegated forms are popular.
Size over time
Typical landscape size 0.6–0.9 m (2–3 ft) tall and 0.6–0.9 m (2–3 ft) wide; medium growth, about 5 years to maturity. Intermediate sizes use the planner’s growth curve (k = 0.25) from the #5 install size.
