Indian hawthorn
Rhaphiolepis indica
Low, mounding evergreen shrub with pink-white spring flowers and blue-black fruit. Common in coastal and desert foundation plantings.
Size over time
Typical landscape size 0.9–1.5 m (3–5 ft) tall and 0.9–1.8 m (3–6 ft) wide; slow growth, about 10 years to maturity. Intermediate sizes use the planner’s growth curve (k = 0.12) from the #3 install size.
