Heat-, drought- and salt-proof evergreen screen with long summer bloom in white, pink or red. All parts are highly toxic.
Size over time
Typical landscape size 2.4–4.5 m (8–15 ft) tall and 2.4–3.6 m (8–12 ft) wide; fast growth, about 4 years to maturity. Intermediate sizes use the planner’s growth curve (k = 0.45) from the #3 install size.

Design notes
- Keep away from play areas and grazing animals; never burn clippings.
- Oleander leaf scorch has killed many old hedges in parts of the Southwest; dwarf cultivars suit small beds.

Native range: Mediterranean to western Asia.
Not recorded as native to any of the three pilot regions.
