Design notes

  • Mow or cut back in late winter before new leaves emerge.
  • Creeping lilyturf (L. spicata) spreads aggressively — specify L. muscari for edging.

Regions

Native range: China, Japan and Korea.

Not recorded as native to any of the three pilot regions.

Native status describes where the species occurs naturally. It is not a promise that it suits a particular garden; site conditions decide that.
